Anchor Studios · Venice

Tiny explorer. Big heart. Endless adventures.

Milo is a real dog in Venice, California. Every episode starts with something that actually happened on a walk — then his friends turn up, and it gets bigger than the truth.

The real Milo

He lives here. The rest we make up.

Milo is a real dog in Venice, California — scruffy, grey and white, permanently in a rubber-duck bandana. He is not a character we invented. Everything in the show starts with something he actually did on an ordinary day.

Meet the gang

Five friends and one very curious nose.

From the studio

Drawn by hand, one friend at a time.

Milo's Adventures is made by Anchor Studios in Venice, California — the same stretch of coast the show keeps wandering back to. Canals, tide pools, sand between the paws.

Everything begins on the model sheet: construction lines, height ratios, and a note about the one thing you must never get wrong about each character.

There is also a Milo’s Adventures picture book, already in print.
